here we are going

Charlie Smith; Single Man, ensorcelled, unreliable narrator, ravenous reader, love child of Jane & Paul Bowles, borne by surrogate, Little Edie Beale, devoted catechumen of Her Grace, Duchess Goldblatt; now living a life of Love & Light, shining from the social-media-free exile of my own personal mirage of Tangier, the Grey Gardens in the Elba of my imagination, here, where I am, going.

About

I am Charlie Smith.I can be reached here at Miraclecharlie@aol.com or as Miraclecharlie (HERE) on Twitter.

I am mostly hermit. I write.  I contemplate. And like everyone else, try to do the best I can in a world gone mad. I work diligently to grow my own awareness of the cultural biases in which we live; I try not to blindly accept any of the conventions or myths about what is “normal” and make every effort to be courageous enough to live in MY OWN truth – and more importantly, allow others THEIR own truths. I have tried to love and live well and clean but have often been disappointed in the outcome. So, now, in what I am fairly certain are my waning years, I am trying to share my truth, my thoughts, my ideas and opinions. Here, where I am, going.
