A SINGLE MAN...again

I’ve been on the bruised end of this exchange. That place where someone is pretending nothing is being asked, so no one is guilty of wanting. I wish people weren’t so afraid of the truth, so fearful of offering love where and when it’s needed, so terrified of the gift of touch and compassion and connection. But, they are.
